The France Excellence Europa Scholarships 2024 is a program funded by the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs. It awards scholarships to European students seeking a Master’s degree in France. The scholarship does not cover tuition fees or travel costs.
The program is highly competitive, with a strong focus on academic excellence. The goal of France Excellence Europa Scholarships 2024 attract top students from 26 European Union countries to pursue Master’s degrees in France.
France Excellence Europa Scholarships 2024

- Program Level: Master’s level.
- Program Duration: The program tenure is from a minimum of 12 months to a maximum of 24 months.
Eligibility:
- Be a citizen of one of the 26 European Union member states (excluding France).
- Be between 18 and 26 years old at the start of your stay in France.
- Be admitted to a Master’s program (M1 or M2) in a French higher education institution for the 2024-2025 academic year.
- Not hold a French higher education degree or be currently registered in France for such a degree.
- Not be the recipient of other major scholarships like Erasmus+, AUF, or another French ministry scholarship.
Benefits:
- Half-yearly allowance: €6,850
- Installation allowance: €1,700
- Exemption from registration fees: for public universities and institutions
- Priority accommodation assistance: in CROUS university residences (rent not covered)
- Health insurance: for the first three months (if you don’t have European Health Insurance Card) Supplemental health insurance: during the scholarship period
- Exemption from CVEC: Contribution de Vie Etudiante et de Campus Discounts on cultural activities
Important Dates:
- Application deadline: March 29, 2024.
- Pre-Selection by embassies: March 30 – April 12, 2024.
- Selection committee and results: April 15 – April 26, 2024.
- Notification of results: Starting April 29, 2024.
- Final list completion: July 2024.
